Stuart sources and oversees the Company’s joint venture investments. He joined Frogmore Estates plc in September 1997 from Siemens Properties (part of the German electronics group) where he spent 18 months as Managing Director responsible for over six million sq.ft. of commercial property. Notable projects included the re-organisation of group property holdings and the £800 million wafer fabrication plant development in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Prior to working for Siemens, Stuart was Property Fund Manager for Provident Mutual Life Association (1982-1996), one of the UK’s most active real estate institutions. During his time working for Provident Mutual, approximately £1.5 billion worth of property was transacted. From 1977 to 1982 Stuart was with Abbey Life Assurance and was involved in the asset management and development of the office and industrial portfolios. Stuart has been involved in some of Frogmore’s major schemes including the redevelopment of the Triangle Shopping Centre in Manchester and implemented the asset management strategy on the St. Nicholas Shopping Centre in Sutton. More recently he has been involved in the purchase of various shopping centres for FREP I and creating a number of joint venture projects in Bath, Manchester, Croydon and Glasgow. Stuart is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is a member of the Investment Property Forum
